O filme independente de Chloé Zhao foi o grande vencedor da noite  e animação da Pixar levaram duas estatuetas cada.

A 78.ª cerimónia dos Golden Globes realizada em 28 de fevereiro, distribuindo prémios aos grandes nomes do cinema e televisão de 2020 e início de 2021. O íntimo Nomadland foi o grande vencedor da noite, conquistando dois dos prémios mais importantes: Globo de Ouro para Melhor Filme de Drama e Melhor Realizador, para Chloé Zhao, tornando-se a primeira mulher asiática a vencer o galardão. 

Chadwick Boseman foi galardoado, de forma póstuma, com o Globo para Melhor Ator em Filme Dramático pela sua performance em Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, e que foi recebido por Taylor Simone Ledward, esposa do ator, num discurso bastante emotivo,  “Ele agradeceria a Deus, seus pais, seus ancestrais, à sua incrível equipe. Ele diria algo bonito, algo inspirador. Algo que amplificaria a voz dentro de todos nós que nos faria seguir em frente neste momento.”

Grandes vencedores destes Golden Globes foi Borat: The Subsequent Moviefilm, que acabou por vencer o prémio de Melhor Filme — Comédia ou Musical, e o seu ator principal, Sacha Baron Cohen recebeu o Globo para Melhor Ator em Filme de Comédia ou Musical.

The Crown' vai acabar na quinta temporada, diz criador da série | Pop & Arte | G1

No que diz respeito à televisão, The Crown venceu praticamente tudo o que podia, conquistado o Golden Globe para Melhor Série Dramática, Melhor Atriz em Série Dramática (Emma Corrin), Melhor Ator em Série Dramática (Josh O’Connor) e Melhor Atriz Secundária em Série Dramática (Gillian Anderson).
